Zeedy vs GRIN
GRIN is an all-in-one creator marketing platform: discovery, outreach, gifting, affiliate, content and creator payments, now run with an AI assistant. Zeedy does one part of that, product seeding on Shopify, and goes deep on it.

Two tools, two jobs
Zeedy
Shopify brands that send free product to creators (seeding, PR gifting). Works only with Shopify. Gifts go out as Shopify draft orders at 100% off, and creators can pick their own pieces and sizes with Gift Link.
GRIN
Brands running a full creator program. GRIN describes itself as an AI-operated platform: its assistant, Gia, does the work and the brand approves the decisions.
Zeedy and GRIN, compared
| Topic | Zeedy | GRIN |
|---|---|---|
| How a gift reaches Shopify | Each gift is a Shopify draft order at 100% off, so stock goes down and cost is booked like any real order. | GRIN says it creates orders in Shopify from creator campaigns and tracks delivery. It does not publish whether those are draft orders, discounted orders or something else. |
| Creator picks products and sizes | Yes, with Gift Link. In “They pick” mode the creator browses your real product pages within your limits (pieces, maximum value, whole store or one collection) and their sizes are held while they choose. In “You pick” mode the link opens a cart you already filled. No creator account needed. | Yes. With a “Live URL” the creator sees the brief, picks products and enters shipping details, and the order is pushed to Shopify. |
| Pricing | Published. Free (5 seedings a month), Starter $49, Growth $149, Scale $299 per month. 14-day trial, billed through Shopify, no per-seeding fees. | Published. Free ($0, 50 credits), Starter $200, Growth $500, Scale $1,000 per month. Credits pay for outreach, discovery, reports, gifting and commissions. Month-to-month, not priced per seat, 30-day Starter trial. |
| Setup | Install from the Shopify App Store. Products, inventory and discounts sync on install. | Self-serve sign-up. Shopify is a one-click connection; other stores connect through a tracking SDK and order webhooks. |
| Finding creators | Look up a creator by Instagram handle and keep them in a roster that remembers sizes, country and tier. No creator marketplace. | Creator search by criteria or handle, with AI sourcing. |
| Affiliate and creator payouts | Not included. Zeedy does not pay creators or track affiliate commissions. | Included. Affiliate links, discount codes and GMV tracking, and creator payments handled in the platform. |
| Reporting | Spend rolls up by campaign, market and tier, and each campaign reports units and spend by market and store location. | Live dashboards, and you can ask for any metric in plain English. |
Which one fits
GRIN is the better choice if…
- You want one platform for the whole creator program: discovery, outreach, gifting, affiliate commissions, content rights and creator payments.
- You pay creators or run commission-based affiliate deals. Zeedy does neither.
- Your store is not on Shopify. GRIN connects other stacks through its SDK and webhooks; Zeedy is Shopify only.
Zeedy is the better choice if…
- Seeding is the job and you want it to live inside Shopify: real draft orders, stock and cost booked like any order.
- You want creators to choose on your own product pages, with sizes held while they decide.
- You prefer a flat monthly plan sized by seedings, with a free plan for 5 a month, over credits.
Zeedy vs GRIN: questions
What is the main difference between Zeedy and GRIN?
Scope. GRIN covers the whole creator program, including affiliate commissions and creator payments. Zeedy covers product seeding on Shopify: who gets what, the gift link, the draft order at 100% off, and what it cost by campaign and market.
How does pricing compare?
GRIN publishes credit-based plans: $0, $200, $500 and $1,000 a month. Zeedy publishes plans by number of seedings: free for 5 a month, then $49, $149 and $299 a month, billed through Shopify.
Can creators pick their own products in both?
Yes. GRIN does it with a Live URL. Zeedy does it with Gift Link, where the creator browses your real product pages within the limits you set, or opens a cart you filled.
Does Zeedy pay creators or run affiliate programs?
No. If you need commissions or creator payouts, GRIN covers that and Zeedy does not.
